The Grand Dominion of Bauralis is an unrecognized state exercising symbolic and territorial sovereignty over several defined areas.
It is guided by rigorous conceptual coherence — that is, a set of principles, symbols, and internal structures designed to be stable and interdependent.

Led since its founding by Chancellor Léon I, the Dominion is characterized by its unique system of Secular Theocracy, in which cold structures power — without dogma or worship.
Founded on June 24, 2012 under the name Principality of Bauralis,
the state went through various forms before adopting, on December 21, 2019, its current structure: the Grand Dominion of Bauralis, a bicentric entity integrating both southern and northern poles.
“Where the flame burns, the ice endures.”
— Official motto of the Grand Dominion of Bauralis
The Dominion is based on a systemic approach (i.e., an understanding of phenomena as interconnected and influenced by complex feedback loops) that values cryospheric environments as thermodynamic regulators of the planet.
Climate change — whether of anthropogenic or natural origin — is regarded as a major disruption of these regulatory systems.
The stability of cold masses, the maintenance of polar regimes, and the integrity of frozen zones are seen as essential to ensuring global climate balance.

⚠️ Physical access to the Bauralis Peninsula and all southern islands is strictly prohibited by decree.
The government operates exclusively from an integrated structure located in Saguenay.
Bauralian citizenship can only be obtained by direct invitation from the Chancellor.
No application, petition, or request is accepted.
Citizens are designated based on their affinity with the logic of cold and their commitment to a posture of silent observation.
The Grand Dominion of Bauralis conducts no active diplomacy.
It maintains a selective neutrality, consistent with its preservation doctrine.
However, exceptional openness may be considered toward entities sharing conceptual concerns compatible with its symbolic and climatic foundations.
The Dominion does not seek diplomatic recognition but would accept it if it respects its structural autonomy.
Certain external organizations carry out actions compatible with the Dominion’s climate posture.
Only the Ice Memory mission is subject to a formal support decree[1].
Other entities are mentioned for informational purposes only, without institutional affiliation.
